Anglican Trust for Women

ATWC provides emotional and practical support in the areas of parenting skills, child behaviour, relationship issues, early childhood education, abuse, neglect, family violence, separation, loss, grief, poverty and housing.

They  help parents, families and care givers to gain the life skills they need to improve the lives and futures of the children in their care.

Some of their services include:

  • Counselling
  • Parenting classes
  • Support from child psychotherapists
  • Social work services

De Paul House

De Paul House provides housing and support services, focusing on families with dependent children. Their trained Social Work Support team will work closely with the family to transition from emergency housing to a stable home.

Family Action

Family Action provides confidential support in West Auckland for all survivors of family harm, sexual harm, abuse, or trauma. Whether your experiences are historical or current, they will provide support to you and your family/whānau.

Family Service Directory

The Family Services Directory is an online, searchable database hosted by the Ministry of Social Development (MSD). Its purpose is to connect people with local family support organisations (providers) who can assist with a wide range of common issues and problems. 

Family Success Matters

Family Success Matters helps parents give their tamariki the best future they can. This could mean support with healthcare, education, safety, parenting, or connecting families with other social service providers.

Kidzacool Adventures by Stand Tū Māia

Stand Tū Māia programme for children aged 5-12 years, where they can play, relax in a fun, safe and sociable environment while carers work, take a break or catch up with friends and family.

Nurturing Families offer a variety of services and programmes designed to support parents and children in our community. From Crisis Packs filled with essential items to weekly parenting group sessions, they offer a safe haven for those navigating parenthood.

Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri

Te Whare Ruruhau o Meri (Te Whare) is a kaupapa Māori social services provider. Located in Manukau and Kaitaia, we provide services to whānau on behalf of Te Hāhi Mihinare – The Māori Anglican Church.

Some of their services include:

  • A healing korowai programme for wāhine Māori
  • A healing tokotoko programme for tāne Māori
  • Non-violence programmes for wāhine and tāne Māori
  • Safety programmes for wāhine and tāne Māori.
