Family Success Matters

Family Success Matters helps parents give their tamariki the best future they can. This could mean support with healthcare, education, safety, parenting, or connecting families with other social service providers.

Incredible Years

The Incredible Years parenting programs are designed to enhance parenting skills and confidence while encouraging parental engagement in their children’s school lives. 

The programme can also help reduce challenging behaviour and increase children’s social and self-control skills.

Stepping Stones

Stepping Stones is based on Triple P’s positive parenting strategies. It can help you manage problem behaviour and developmental issues common in children with disability. It also helps encourage behaviour you like, cope with stress, develop a close relationship with your child and teach your child new skills.

Tai Chi and Qigong

Movement for Calm offers inclusive Tai Chi and Qigong programmes for children and young adults with disabilities and mental health challenges.  The programme teaches breathing and relaxation methods, self-regulation, balance, coordination and core strength.

Te Ara Rangatahi

Te Ara Rangatahi was created in 2015 by a group of Ngati Te Ata rangatahi who came together to discuss what they could do for their Iwi. They have mentoring, innovation, and employment focus programmes.
