MetService has issued severe weather warnings for regions including Northland, Auckland, and the Coromandel Peninsula. Expect heavy rain and gale-force winds from Wednesday evening through Friday.

How to prepare
Here are some steps to help you get ready:
Emergency kit. Assemble essential items such as medications, wallet, assistive devices, chargers for devices, keys, food, water, and important documents. For guidance, visit the Red Cross Good and Ready programme.

Accessibility considerations
